It's April in Phoenix, which means it's time to get out there and enjoy your garden! With temperatures rising, I'm thrilled to see my garden springing back to life. This month I'm looking forward to adding herbs and veggies to my garden beds, and of course those all-important companion plants to keep everything happy and thriving. Here are some of my tried and true favorites that can go right into your Phoenix Kitchen Garden this month!

PKG Bonus Tips
Be on the lookout for garden pests and diseases in your low desert Phoenix Kitchen Garden in April. Aphids, beetles, thrips, and cutworms can do quite a bit of damage seemingly overnight at this time of the year. Remember to look under leaves, along stems, at the base of the plant, and where new growth is emerging - these are favorite hiding places for damaging insects!
