In our Phoenix kitchen gardens, December is the time to add:

๐ŸŒฑ garlic

๐ŸŒฑ leeks

๐ŸŒฑ spinach - cold tolerant varieties

๐ŸŒฑ lettuce - cold hardy varieties like red leaf

๐ŸŒฑ radish

๐ŸŒฑ carrots

๐ŸŒฑ parsley

๐ŸŒฑ cilantro

PKG Bonus Tips

Radishes are not only tasty, they are also ready to harvest in just 4 weeks. That's practically instant gratification in our Phoenix Kitchne Gardens!

Cilantro is a great addition to so mant recipes, like guacamole, salsa, and Cilantro Lime Rice , and it's also self-seeding. This means it will spread on its own and could come back not quite where you originally planted it!
