Now is the time to start planning for your 2023 Phoenix Kitchen Garden!
December may not be the month to plant many herbs and vegetables (although there are a few that do very well), but it’s the perfect month to PLAN. Here is your RECIPE FOR A SUCCESSFUL
2023 Garden!

LOCATION
Look for an area in your yard or patio that ideally receives 6 hours of sunshine each day.
SOIL
Heathy and nutritious soil is mandatory for great tasting vegetables! There are plenty of great soil combinations, but I’ve shared one of my favorites HERE in my Phoenix Kitchen Gardens Journal.
WATER
Make a plan that will help you water your Phoenix Kitchen Garden consistently. This could be a timed irrigation system, a regular garden hosebib hooked to a timer, or a daily alarm on your phone. There are several options here, so reach out with any questions!
TIME
Make sure you can devote a few minutes to spend time in your kitchen arden daily. This will help you note changes and growth, and also address any small issues before they become bigger ones.
