It's May in Phoenix, and as temperatures rise it's time to adjust your watering schedule! For more information on water choices check out my water tips. This month I'm watching my water more closely and keeping my eyes peeled for pests and disease. There is still time to add veggies to my garden beds, and of course those all-important companion plants to keep everything happy and thriving. Here are some of my tried and true favorites that can go right into your Phoenix Kitchen Garden this month!

PKG Bonus Tips
Be on the lookout for garden pests and diseases in your low desert Phoenix Kitchen Garden in May. Aphids, beetles, thrips, and cutworms can do quite a bit of damage seemingly overnight at this time of the year. Remember to look under leaves, along stems, at the base of the plant, and where new growth is emerging - these are favorite hiding places for damaging insects!
I would love to help you cultivate your green thumb! To book a consultation, click the link on the PKG homepage or call 602-722-7971.
